Shake off the January blues on Friday 22 as The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton, kicks off their new year programme with a comedy show, "Jane's Next Step", by stand up Aine Gallagher, at 8.30pm.

"Jane's Next Step" is seen from the unique perspective of Jane, who has accidentally been crowned Ireland's fifth funniest Irish-speaking comedian. She is now venturing on her next step in life. Life goals, such as becoming an adult were achieved in 2015, her aims for 2016 are suitably ambitious. Aine has been writing and performing comedy since 2011, with regular performances across the irish stand up circuit, London's Wes End, Edinburgh Fringe, TG4 and RTÉ.

Is í Jane an cúigear Gaeilgeoir is greannmhaire in Éirinn. Leis an stádas cáiliúil sin, chun tosaigh, cheannaigh sí a lán scáhú gorm agus anois, níl sí ró soléir ceard atá roimpi mar... "a cead céim eile". This show plays with language, interweaving Irish with the English, and is presented by Club Scannáin Chluainín and sponsored in part by Foras na Gaeilge.

Admission is €8 (€6 concession) or Free with annual membership of Club Scannáin Chluainín (€10 annual membership gives you entry to four events per year). Alternatively, tickets can be booked online at www.theglencentre.com.or from the box office on 071-9855833.
