Due to the closure of Mikey Ryan's Pub, Main Street, the Cashel branch of Conradh na Gaeilge's Comhrá Cois Tine (fire-side chat_ now takes place at TJ Ryan's Hostelry at the entrance to Lower Gate Square, every Monday 8pm to 9.30pm.
In the convivial surroundings of Cashel's oldest pub, by a real fire, Teanga Náisiúnta is spoken with glee. Most of those who attend are fluent "as Gaeilge" and help in every way to improve the grasp of the language of those less fluent at present. The chat is pleasant and informed and everyone takes part. People are encouraged to get involved; it is always lighthearted, lively and enjoyable. New members welcome.
