PEIG was established in 2004 to represent the interests of enterprises involved in Power Electronics in Ireland.


Among the key objectives of PEIG are:

  • To promote the strategic development of the Power Electronics Industry in Ireland.
  • To conduct market and technical research of interest to its members.
  • To promote the international reputation for excellence of the Power Electronics Industry in Ireland.
  • To strengthen relationships between all stakeholders in the industry including industrial members, universities and research institutes.
  • To assist in the promotion of Ireland as an attractive location for further investment in Power Electronics.
  • To promote co-operation and alliances between member companies and with related international bodies.
